HOW IS THE MICRO-FUE HAIR TRANSPLANTATION DONE ?

The Micro Fue hair transplantation method, or also known as the Fue method. Today, in
many hair transplantations done by the Fue (Follicular Unit Extraction) method, “Micromotor”
is used. Hair transplantation treatments done by the Fue (Follicular Unit Extraction) method
where “Manual Punch” is used, decreases day by day. In the FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction)
method, hair follicles are collected one by one by micromotors under local anesthesia, with
the help of “micro punches” in person-specific sizes which are similar to needles. Then, they
are embedded in hairless areas, by taking the natural hair direction and growth angle into
consideration.
How Is the Micro Fue Hair Transplantation Realized?
-The hair is shortened to 1 mm in the preparation phase of the hair transplantation operation.
-If there are few areas where the transplantation will be done, and if the patient’s hair is long
enough to cover the area where grafting will be done, it is not needed to cut the hair
completely.
-After the hair is shortened, the operation area is cleaned with an antiseptic solution.
– Then, the scalp is anesthetized all around with local anesthesia.
– The anesthesia will be sufficient until the end of the operation.
-The micro-punch is brought closer in a way that it centers the strand of hair, and inserted
into and withdrawn from the skin appropriate to the growth angle of the hair.
-The hair is, together with the follicle and surrounding microscopic tissue, being incised in a
cylindrical way.
-In the Micro Fue method, FUE needle tips with sizes between 0,6-0,8-0,9 mm are used. By
this way, smaller grafts are collected. (Smaller grafts are important for a natural and dense
transplantation.)
-Grafts are collected, and saved in cooled special solutions during the operation.
-After these phases, the phase of canalization and graft transplantation is realized by the
chosen method.
The shorter recovery time and lesser pain in the days after the hair transplantation operation
done by the Micro Fue method, are the advantages of this method. In the Micro Fue method,
only the related stem cell is worked on, without touching a tissue on the area where grafting
is done. There won’t be any cuts or sutures in local hair transplantation treatments done by
using the Micro Fue method. There will occur millimetric scratches on the area from where
the follicles are collected. These scratches shall heal up within a short time and get better
without scarring. Transplanted hair generally falls out at the end of the first month. Normally,
hair begin to grow 2 to 3 months after the hair transplantation. In the 6th month, the hair will
grow to an extent that it can be noticed with the naked eye.
